Wuhan: Day 22

Okay, so today was normal for me, except I spent time studying for my APPG theory test tomorrow, NOT. Motivation to study has left me, for now, it’ll be back tomorrow after the trip to this industrial place, Mr.Chua said something today though, we’re here to improve our self-learning abilities, from that, we can proceed towards university with the responsibility to study. I, have none, for now that is.

This just seems to me as a very long holiday, with studying in between. I never thought to the extent of learning how to self-learn here. Very silly of me to have left that one out. But who can blame me, while I was here, I missed out on “Heroes”, “How I Met your Mother”, “Gossip Girl” and “The Big Bang Theory”. Just a few of my favorite series I like to watch, makes me sane for the moment. Or at least weekly, since they come out every Tuesday. The weather here, certainly has not improved with the heavy downfall and some thunder and lightning. The cold, no words to describe it now.

Having writers block is very irritating. I think my reflection is in this post already, in the first few lines. Right now, all I can think about is the heavily packed weekend. And of course, tomorrows test. It’ll be a massacre tomorrow.

Wuhan: Day 22

Hello world, today was the norm for me, BUT! We had the long expected (tang bao) Xiao Long Bao that we always wanted I’m guessing there’s baby dragon meat inside – therefore the name. Also, much delectable soupy liquid can be found within this vessel which also seems like it has a partially-permeable outer layer because we dip these meaty balls of delight into vinegar. So, with the partially-permeable membrane-like membrane, the vinegar can make its way safely to the core of the ball where the baby dragon meat lingers with utmost loneliness. Oh the savory delight of the bao, its taste is very intriguing but it is still unmatchable from the Dim Sum places in Singapore which I visit with 4riends at least once a week. We make it a habit to indulge in such foods as we like to live it like the olden days.

Canada’s Maple leaf has been calling out to me, more and more, I’m feeling very VERY Canadian. Haha :) relfection on today? There is none, except for the fact that I have satisfied my utmost dim sum need ever since arriving to Wuhan, I don’t think this counts as a reflection but OH WELL! Pictures below! Oh and in one of my past posts, I said that I wanted to feel the cold, longing for it. The past few days its been so cold, and when I felt the piercing cold rain dropping noiselessly onto my shivering skin, I am feeling more alive than ever. Right now, all I want is the warmth of the sun, “I want to sun burn, just to know that I’m alive…”. My adaptability to the cold weather is so poor (but I think I’m very geng, SO! I choose to think I’m warm all the time). If this goes on, I’m bound to have a cold snap.
